Who is responsible for student transportation? Student responsible for transport to border of receiving district. Receiving districts may reimburse low-income students for cost of transport to district border.
Do desegregation provisions impact open enrollment programs? YES
A sending or receiving district with a desegregation plan approved by the chief state school officer must accept or reject each individual application in a manner that complies with plan.
